$1M Infrastructure Project Underway

Old Bedford Village has launched $1M infrastructure project and fundraiser to rehab the buildings on-site.  After 34 years, some of the old buildings need major repairs of the roofs, logs, chinking, water and electric.  

Thanks to some of our wonderful reenactors volunteering their time, a few buildings saw the first of the rehab project undertaken.  With limited funds, it is wonderful to have volunteers assist in the project.  A Big Thanks to all of them.

Hands-on School Program

There are not many dates left to plan a hands-on field trip.  This is a wonderful way to teach students first hand about history.  Call 814-623-1156 and have your program tailored to meet the needs of your students.  Old Bedford Village offers this same program to the Scouts or other youth groups throughout the summer.  Schedule a date.

Welcome to Old Bedford Village

Old Bedford Village is getting ready to kick off the 2010 season on Memorial Day Weekend.  Come and experience history from the 1750's to 1900 as you walk through time.  Interact with with interpreters and learn crafts of the time period.  Stop by the Pendergrass Tavern and have a bowl of homemade soup and specialties.  Enjoy a cookie from our bakery of ice cream from the creamery.  Check out our web site http://www.oldbedfordvillage.com for the special events during the season
